Overview

This a series for building a Wireguard VPN router with LTE services for monitoring equipment installed at a remote location via Zabbix. This project can easily be used to build an OPNsense router with a wired WAN and auto LTE failover.

This guide is based on the following hardware:

• Protectli FW4B
  • Intel® J3160
  • 4 Ethernet ports
  • 8GB RAM
  • 32GB mSATA SSD
  • 4G Internal LTE modem MDG100 (from Protectli)
• OPNsense 22.7 and 23.7
• Protectli 88Wh UPS
• Protectli Rackmount Shelf
